Thank you for considering fishing for MSC certified Pacifical tuna, this is how you can start. You do not need an MSC Chain of Custody, PNA will subscribe your vessels under their umbrella.
- First step would be to request an MOU from PNA. Send us an email to cynthia@pacifical.com
- If the fishing company will be co-packing and selling raw material, semi processed and / or final product, the packers with the respective MSC COC number should be included within MOU
- When using a container loading facility, please provide PNA office Bill of Lading for verification of consignee and MTCB issuance.
- Submit list of vessels and carriers with IMO number, flag state and Name of the Vessel
- Coordinate with PNA for the 8 week MSC COC training
- You are now ready to catch for MSC eligible tuna!
- Request for MSC trained observer and MSC Trip number
- Submit to PNA weekly catch reports (Report format is to be sent by PNA)
- Once the fish has been unloaded, Receive MSC certificate if the catch complies with MSC COC parameters.
- There is no Pacifical service fee charged for this partnership.
