This past week the PNA Tuna members adopted a #conservation measure on the management procedure for #skipjack tuna in the WCPO, without this progress towards #harvest strategies and PNA’s leadership to put this proposal forward, all #fisheries could have lost their MSC status. We could not be more proud of our #Pacific leaders. Thanks to their initiatives not only we can share this news, but also our ocean remains the only ocean where skipjack, #yellowfin, #bigeye, and #albacore stocks are healthy and #overfishing is not occurring.

We will continue to serve you with MSC FAD free skipjack and yellowfin independently verified at sea and with verified @Global Dialogue on Seafood Traceability (GDST) -capable traceability solutions. Special thanks to the @Global Tuna Alliance for keeping everyone up to date during the meeting!
